""No articles found" again"

Postby dim.bars » 23 Oct 2016, 10:56

Hello,
I've got a problem such as this topic. When all feeds was read, some of them display "No articles found", when "Adaptive" mode selected. But some feeds display their articles.
I use MySQL database, and "InnoDB" type of tables.
i tried to restore previous backup, and tried to full drop database and then restore. Nothing helps.
How can i repair it?

Ubuntu 14.04.5, MySQL 5.5.52 and TT Rss git version v16.1 (e3dceca) .

i don't understand, what log need i submit, because ttrss get new articles, show unread articles, correct mark them as read. But when new articles was read, ttrss doesn't show them.

1. update to latest git (unlikely to help but still)

2. this sounds like a database-related problem much like the thread you linked. you can always switch to postgresql, i guess.

the only supported way is exporting/importing feeds via opml and starred articles via plugin

well it's a bit hard to repair something if you don't know why or how it is broken

if you don't want to switch databases you can start from scratch on mysql but if you reimport your old data you'll likely bring back the problems with it

try with a fresh database anyway at least you'll know if the problem is database or tt-rss related

when i add new feed and marked all of it as read it's show correctly. Special feeds and two old feeds doesn't work. How does test them? If i delete this channels and add them again, does i lose my starred items?

tt-rss requires a functioning database server to work, since at this point it is quite likely that your setup fails this requirement, i'm afraid i can no longer help you

you can do as i outlined above and see if starting from scratch helps or continue debugging your likely broken setup on your own and outside of this subforum

Some program mount disk system (overflow) in /tmp with a size of 1Mb. This happens when the disk is full, what was the cause of the problem. Read more here stackoverflow.com
MYSQL requires a much larger volume of this folder.
After restoring the desired amount of free space in / and unmount /tmp (sudo umount overflow) everything worked normally.
thanks to Fox for your patience

i don't know.
MySQL dumping every day and save a long time (grandfather-father-son), and restoring dump was correct. Error occurs, when ttrss get data, and mysql can't use /tmp, and give data back to site.
