The comments are loaded in an iframe, and, as suggested some posts above, in lib/htmlLawed.php i commented out the 'iframe' tag in this line:

With tt-rss 1.7.5 iframes should show up without any code modifications whatsoever. Please upgrade and check if your problem persists. As fox already pointed out numerous times, htmlLawed is somewhat terrible :)

Also, it may just be a css problem. In that case try something like this in your custom stylesheet:

Code: Select all

div.cdmContentInner iframe {
    min-width: 100%;
}

Thanks a lot for the reply.
updating tt-rss does display the iframe, and it's also bigger.
Using firefox, i found that the width in this case it's set here:

div.postContent iframe {
min-width: 50%;
}

by modifying it to 100% it finally takes the whole frame.
The height is still strangely set at a fixed 150px.
But adding a min-height to the same entry did the trick.

Thanks a lot!

Hmm... it seems like the problem is solved only while viewing the post in a web client, when using the official android client i still get the tiny window...

I think I might be seeing the same issue - youtube videos are just appearing as black squares.

eg in the post http://blog.gaming.stackexchange.com/20 ... borrowing/ from http://gaming.blogoverflow.com/feed/ or the post http://feeds.boingboing.net/~r/boingboi ... tory01.htm from http://feeds.boingboing.net/boingboing/iBag

In the JS console I'm seeing this error flash up whenever I scroll to either of those posts:

Code: Select all

Uncaught Error: SecurityError: DOM Exception 18 www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:49
r.get www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:49
Jd www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:50
Yd www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:53
a.getInstance www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:1
(anonymous function) www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:64
r.load www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:56
qe www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:64
pe www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:61
r.od www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:158
r.nb www-embed-vflMawmXz.js:157
(anonymous function)

I had a look at applying either of the above patches (to 1.7.8) but I guess the relevant code was refactored?

This is a doc of what is sanitized (and why) in this Python feed parsing library. Might be a good place to get a list of what to strip (both tags and attributes).
