Still having flashing (reloading) message "No feeds to display"... What is wrong?
BTW, can I do some translation for you (link to transifex.com shows "Page not found")?

1.7.3?

Transifex is out, it's all github now. And of course, all translators are welcome.

No problems here with the latest version of the Android client and I happily paid to keep it going beyond 7 days. I look forward to getting the API update in 1.7.6 to allow the Android client to subscribe to feeds. I thought it was a bug at first when I was getting the "This action requires a newer version of Tiny Tiny RSS" error with the latest client version, but I had a quick scan through the client Java and server PHP code, as well as the bug tracker (#623) and figured it was a work in progress. I may have missed it in the 1.4 documentation though.

I think the ability to click a feed link in my phone's browser and it be handled in the Android client will be an excellent addition and is one of those features which will make life much easier for those of us who tend to use our phones/tablets more than a desktop/laptop :)

Hello, fox and everybody!

I'm using Tiny Tiny RSS on personal VPS for about a month and still trying to choose which android client is better.
Official client has least amount of bugs and almost suits my needs.
But it has some not comfortable features for me. Only in Offline mode! Online mode is perfect but I need to use Offline mode very often (subway, international roaming ...)
1. No more than 2000 articles to download.
2. Very long preparation to Offline (all articles are downloading again and again every time).
3. Unable to save or share pictures from articles.
4. Unable to read only unread articles. As i can see it can hide only entire read category but cannot hide read articles. We need to scroll or flip through read articles to find unread and start reading.
5. There're no useful special folders like All articles. Very sad.

Sure, i can live with all of these features but may be sometime ...
BTW may be i miss some options to tune?

Thank you for your great work, fox.

P.S. bug in offline mode: I'm pressing "cloud" and after some seconds "Offline mode is ready" dialog pops up but articles and images are still downloading. We need to wait while "Preparing offline mode" disappears from status bar and then press "Go offline". Then it's OK. Android 4.2.1.

Article cap is not going to be increased precisely because people like you will push it to unreasonable values and then come here whining that offline sync takes several hours.

Disable image downloading and/or use less shitty network if offline syncs slowly (mostly disable image downloading).

Generally in the future try reading before posting.

I was afraid of angering you and it's happened ...

May be I wrote 1 or 2 thoughts that you've meant in wiki but others are now out of focus too?

Yes obviously every stupid post here makes me IRL mad. Get over yourself.

>3. Unable to save or share pictures from articles.

Yes you can, longtap on the picture. Due to a bug in android webview, it doesn't work all the time though on 4.1 and newer.

>4. Unable to read only unread articles.

Menu - view mode.

This might not be there in offline because offline is a redheaded stepchild I don't particularly care about. As far as I'm concerned, in 21st century you should have working mobile data and for air travel and what have you existing functionality is sufficient.

>5. There're no useful special folders like All articles. Very sad.

You can create a ticket for 4 & 5 (unless 4 is there, I don't have time to check atm).

Fwiw a workaround is to zoom in on the pic with the two finger expand gesture.

Client looks nice. I've noticed 2 things:

- I have used the drag/drop to set up an order for viewing categories. I see this in the web interface but not the in the android client. not a big deal, but an inconsistency.

- I get prompted when I am in article viewing mode if I try to mark all as read. this is good. however, if I tap and hold a feed/category and select "mark read" it does it with no prompt. yikes. on my mobile it is easy to miss and pick the wrong menu item. can this be fixed? At the top level I wanted to browse by category, so I tapped and held and *thought* I was selecting that option but missed and got all marked as read. my fault, but....
