"when the accounting function that acceleration when it is turned off."

I have no idea what this means. Maybe if you learned english in school instead of watching anime.

Current official client from Play store crashes

Postby DrWhoZee » 21 Oct 2013, 17:28

Hi,

I just installed the update of the android client that became available in Play store today. Trying to start it just results in a
- the Tiny Tiny RSS header being shown, followed shortly thereafter by a
- black screen, followed by
- the dialog box: Tiny Tiny RSS stopped with the options of sending a report and "OK"ing it

Android is a Samsung Galaxy 4.

I've sent the report, hope that will make it to you. Is there anything else I can provide to help debug this?

The version I installed yesterday worked fine.

Hi Fox!

I updated the apk to latest official release from Play.

The shortcut to all unread articles is working, but the icon hasn't counter. :)

Unfortunately the widget is not working properly. The counter is ready, but the start action after touching isn't working. I found this bug in previous versions also.

I'm using Nova launcher (SGS3 GT-i9300, stock ROM, Android 4.1.2).

Try to collect logcat errors if any.

Hi Fox,

I noticed that you cant update a feed with the pull to refresh feature when the feed is empty, which happens quite often when i am browsing the fresh articles feed.

Is this inevitable, meant to be this way or could this possibly be fixed in a later version?

Ah and since this is my first post here: Thanks for Tiny Tiny RSS and the Android client.

Fox - just got a Nexus 5, and the android app is not sizing images to fit. Unless I am doing something wrong. It makes for difficult scrolling. The weird thing is if you view the image/post a second time, it will size to fit.

I tried changing the compatibility view debug setting with no luck.

heh. fwiw I only got one because I dumped US Cellular, and the N5 is cheap. I wasn't ruling out the possibility that I was being a dumbass (vs google breaking anything).

Could this problem be due to kit kat switching to chromium for webview? link

(also, thank you thank you thank you for tt-rss!!)

Yeah, looks like a Nexus5 or KitKat issue. I've got the same thing on my Nexus 5. I'm not at home or I'd boot up an emulator and see if it occurs there too. If not then I guess we'll all just have to chip in and send a Nexus5 to fox so he can clean up Google's mess. Or dig into the source and submit a patch.

I tried to record the widget problem: https://db.tt/3TeLAriq

Steps after recording of log:
- press home.
- press tt-rss widget (tt-rss doesn't start)
- press tt-rss shourtcut twice (tt-rss is starting)
- press home
- press widget (tt-rss is starting)

I dunno, not really seeing anything useful in there. I'm afraid someone smarter than me is needed to figure this out, especially since I was so far unable to replicate it.
