Feed icon recognition - experimental

Postby gmargo » 29 Mar 2012, 07:25

Attached is a patch that I've been using for over a month.
It checks the feed icon image content, instead of using the Mime Content-Type header, using simple pattern matching derived from the "file(1)" program.

I know there are image recognition functions provide by PHP, but I wrote this before I knew it (You guessed it - I'm a PHP beginner.)

This actually makes more sense than ImageMagick-based functions because I'd like to keep tt-rss without that huge dependency, thanks!
