Can try clearing the safari cache? Both beta1 and beta2 worked for me on my iPhone but I cleared the cache first. Don't know if it makes any difference or not.

I see only "Loading..." .

in api.js line 71,72
replace

Code: Select all

models.settingsModel
with

Code: Select all

require('models').settingsModel

then works fine.

That's what happens when you don't have the conf.js setup properly. Also, depending on what version you upgraded from, the conf.js has been moved into the /scripts/ subdirectory, and the variable names have changed.

old conf.js

Code: Select all

/************ global config variables **********/
/* Copy config.js-dist to config.js
   and set it up for your environment.

   DO NOT USE ANY FILESYSTEM PATH, only relative URLs
   as seen from your browser */

/* relative URL from the root to access your Tiny Tiny RSS
   installation */
window.apiPath="/";

/* relative URL from the root to access this webapp */
window.webappPath="/m/";

new /scripts/conf.js

Code: Select all

/* Copy config.js-dist to config.js
   and set it up for your environment.

   DO NOT USE ANY FILESYSTEM PATH */

define({

  /* URL to access your Tiny Tiny RSS installation */
  apiPath: "/",

  /* URL to access this webapp */
  webappPath: "/,/"

});

Those are the defined paths for my install. Might be different for yours.

One crazy thing, on my 1.0-b2 install, i don't know why webappPath: "/,/" works, but it does.

Could you describe what was wrong in the conf file? I'd like to reproduce this to make the web app display an error message.

Hi, sorry; I don't know :(
I have removed all files and extracted the release file in the same directory. Then moved the config.js-dist to config.js and changed settings. Works fine now! Therefore I assumed I made a typo in the first place.

I recreated the problem by renaming conf.js, or to do something to break the defined object, such as putting an errant character in it.

If the apiPath is missing, wrong, or its name is changed, then an alert is thrown, but from what I can tell, there's not any errors thrown for webappPath, even if it's missing or had it's name changed, and in fact continued to work when commented out completely.

I think it's possible to remove this config var. I'll try something...

The config variable for the webappPath had been removed.
A bug fixed where the list of articles could be stuck on "Loading...". This case appeared when going from one feed to another one with the same list of articles (fresh articles = all articles for example).
A little bit of formatting for the articles list : lower height for rows, full title displayed and feed/time right aligned.

1.0-beta3 is available: https://github.com/mboinet/ttrss-mobile ... a3.tar.bz2

Kind of a problem here... I used to run tt-rss on the following location: mydomain.com/reader
Due to some praktical reasons I have moved it to the following location: server.mydomain.com/reader
The mobile webapp is running in this directory: server.mydomain.com/readerMobile

Unfortunately now readerMobile is not working anymore. My conf.js looks like this:

Code: Select all

define({

  /* URL to access your Tiny Tiny RSS installation */
  apiPath: "/reader/",

});

I'm aware of this: https://github.com/mboinet/ttrss-mobile/issues/36, but I don't think it is the same problem, since -in my case- the mobile version is running on the same host, right? So what can be wrong? I also tried to delete ALL browser caches.
