Better Android client

Google has announced to shut down its reader service in a couple of months. Many Google Readers (people) will move to TTRSS, since that is the best alternative by far.
Shutting down the reader service also implies that the current Google Reader apps become worthless. Since some of these apps are really nice and advanced, would it be possible to convince the developers to modify their apps to work with TTRSS?

Some of them (like Liferea) are already adding TTRSS functionality. On the other hand, it could be hard to convince them since Feedly had announced to provide a Google-Reader-like API, so the change for developers will only be one URI, probably...

If you want to attract Google Reader client apps to TT-RSS then you should as feedly has said they will do; emulate the Google Reader API.

Well if I understand it right and feedly is a glorified google reader frontend, they pretty much have to emulate it. Otherwise they're properly fucked.

Jep, they say they already have a GR-compatible backend ("Normandy").

Pretty sure their codename implies the tremendous casualties they'll have to endure while making the god damned beachhead^W backend.
