update feeds based on last_login

Postby anthony » 22 Mar 2013, 12:17

Hi,

I want to reduce DAEMON_UPDATE_LOGIN_LIMIT to 5 days, in order to save useless feed updates. But I think this should be based on last access, not last login, as a user may not have to log in again, if he uses ttrss often, thus remaining in the same session.

I think adding a last_access column in the users table would do the trick. The backend.php could update it if it is older than 10 minutes for example, to save some db writes.

What do you think ?

Well, login timestamp should be bumped on each page reload.

Edit: I guess if you don't refresh your browser tab for a month then stuff might stop updating. https://github.com/gothfox/Tiny-Tiny-RS ... 5d2a1d3051
