The dreaded yellow is gone

Postby fox » 29 Mar 2013, 19:07

If anyone else was annoyed by needing to read black on yellow text in expanded mode, this will be removed for the next version.

Disclaimer: Google Reader is totally not being an inspiration for this or combined mode in general.

Speaking of combined mode, do articles still appear up off the top of the screen when expanding them? I'm still on 1.7.4 and that's actually keeping me from reading in combined mode. I want to keep them collapsed so I can skim headlines easily, but find myself constantly having to scroll up after expanding articles.

Glad the yellow is going away though! :D

Nah I fixed this because it was annoying and someone created a ticket.

Why are you not on trunk. :)

It's not, but it's not going to be used for active class, only for selection (same with 3 panel mode).

I haven't even found the time to make a backup and update to 1.7.5 yet, nevermind downloading the bleeding-edge release from github. I'll get there!

Ehh, I'll figure out the user CSS for it then.

Just wanted to say, I've just updated to 1.7.6 and the new theme looks amazing. I had quite a lot of user based CSS to style it how I liked but with this new version I have just removed 99% of it as it now looks virtually the same as my own CSS. Great job!

I love this. The yellow was not to my taste for general reading, and the new blue border is really rather tasteful.
