API client using KnockoutJS and Bootstrap

Postby fox » 06 May 2013, 16:31

So I played around with KnockoutJS and made this: https://github.com/gothfox/Tiny-Knockout-Client

It doesn't really work except for bare basics, but it looks kinda cute. You will need to put API endpoint url to config.js. This might grow into a Digest replacement if I'm bored for a sufficient amount of time.

You put this much together just playing around? If you have more time for it, I'd love to see you go further.

It's really easy to work with, also I've been playing with Bootstrap earlier this week. Anyway, at this point it's about as functional as a digest plugin, although it looks / works somewhat differently.

Love it, it's really quick. I'm powering through my image feeds like a hot knife through butter.

Tried it on my installation, very nice and slim. Would be enough for me for 99% of my ttrss usage, if there were just two more features:

- special/fresh articles, where all feeds are combined in chronological order (my default view)
- keyboard shortcuts, at least "n" and "o", maybe "u"
