So, here's this thing...

Postby fox » 10 Sep 2010, 20:19

Last few days I got, shall we say, inspired by Feedly and this is how it looks like:

I'm not exactly sure where I'm going but it's already more fun to use this thing on my puny (1366x768 13") laptop than full-sized tt-rss which really doesn't fit very well on screens of this size/resolution. Most probably I won't be able to recreate all this posh stuff Feedly does but I'm open to suggestions about (easy, lol) stuff to add.

Code is available here:

Code: Select all

git clone http://madoka.spb.ru/repos/tt-rss.git digest-experimental

Nice! I tried it today and works so far, but...

If there are no unread messages, i get an JS-error:

Code: Select all

Error message:

Exception: TypeError, $("F-" + feed_id) is null
Function: view()
Location: digest.js:256

viewfeed(-4)@http://example.org/digest.js:256
@http://example.org/digest.js:598

I'm not even sure how it should work when there is nothing to read. :)

(fixed in trunk)

It could simply show an "no unread articles" ;)

Fix for JS-problem is working so far. Thank you! 8)

Very cool & eye candy !

I like the fact that image (of an article) is download only if I click on the article.

Also, I find it more usable on my smartphone (N900) than actual mobile version (new or classic).

Just a heads up, I have merged digest in trunk (master branch, that is) sometime ago. It sorta works but needs usability improvements.
