Donations via Flattr

Postby paddlaren » 14 Oct 2012, 11:41

Hi!

I tried to donate via PayPal and I gave up. My donation message was written severeal times and it failed with "cannot complete but I will not hint you why".

There is a donation system called Flattr where I miss tt-rss. Flatter allows for small monthly donations and obvious large ones as this was the only mean to donate to wikileaks which made it famous recently.

It seems like you register with your email, add activites (those are what I donate to) and then you can both give and receive donations. There is a TT-RSS but it seems to be Polish and I will NOT donate unless I recognize Andrews email.

Besides, flatter is a Swedish invention and I have only 60 km to hit something hard in the owners head if it steals my money  Same distance for flowers if it work.

Link is: flattr (dot) com (newbies to the forum is not allowed to use real links).

BR
Erik

I seem to recall there was some catch in using Flattr, but I can't remember what it was. Or maybe I'm just mistaking it with something else. Paypal is shitty, on this point I think everyone can agree, so I'll investigate that, thanks.
