You can change the font for the article body as indicated below.

Around line 77:

Code: Select all

.cdmContent .cdmContentInner {
  color: #333333;
  font-family: Verdana; /* <-- add this line */
  font-size: 14px;      /* <-- and possibly change this value */
  line-height: 1.35em;  /* <-- this is the spacing between the text */
}

Here is a list of common fonts (and CSS reference):

Have fun!

First off, big thanks for the theme. Making a few modifications to it, but in general I love what it does.

Also, I converted it into a plugin after stumbling across a post (below) by fox concerning another theme:
http://tt-rss.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1450&sid=5a7a9c69390c473a95204e2c4b77f210#p6475

This gives another way to put it into use and maybe simpler for newer users.

The compressed file uses the code from your initial post in this thread, which I believe you are keeping up to date. I zipped everything up today (3/29) around noon EST.

Starting with next version you'll be able to just drop .css files into tt-rss/themes and select them in preferences, so screwing around with plugins will no longer be needed.

Marvelous!

Just saw that feature elsewhere on the site, so yeah, that plugin has a very limited lifespan.

@enzipher:
I like your New Theme and started using it.
It works fine but I am missing the bottom line of article body where the article tags should appear.

@wgwgbmp Thanks for the effort, and you're welcome! As @fox mentioned it won't be necessary from the next version. However, if the theme would need any additional settings in the future I could imagine it would be useful as a plugin.

@j-prause Glad you like it. That is correct. In order to make things less cluttered I disabled the article footer. You can enable it by changing the CSS below the /* Remove clutter */ comment like this:

Code: Select all

/* Remove clutter */
div.cdmHeader span.author {
  display: none;
}

Note that the footer will be yellow as by default, although I think that will change in next version of TTRSS (1.7.6).

@enzipher: Thank you, that's it.

You mean change of colour?

Yeah the dreaded yellow is gone now.
