Same issue here.
I am using the feedburner feed but I have af_unburn plugin enabled that seems to put feedburner:origLink into $article['link'].

Code: Select all

if (strpos($article['link'], 'DilbertDailyStrip') !== FALSE || strpos($article['link'], 'dilbert.com/strips/comic') !== FALSE) {

should do the trick

@ZeGuigui thanks for clearing that up.

Version 1.06: now checking whether the link contains:

Code: Select all

DilbertDailyStrip
dilbert/daily_strip
dilbert.com/strips/comic

Today Dilbert returns: "Dilbert readers - Please visit Dilbert.com to read this feature. Due to changes with our feeds, we are now making this RSS feed a link to Dilbert.com."

Any way to circumvent this?

Works perfectly?
Not really, it destroys the browser display independed of the version of tt-rss (tested 1.78 and 1.80). I made two pics with and without fox' dilbert plugin.
How can i solve this?

Going by the octocat on the display he downloaded html versions of the files instead of raw ones, so that's mostly user being an idiot, nothing to do with tt-rss versions per se.

good to know, I could tell the complainer was some kind of idiot, but I wasn't sure *what* kind.

@fox
Thanks for pushing in the right direction.
I used wget with https://github.com/gothfox/Tiny-Tiny-RSS/blob/master/plugins/af_dilbert/init.php ==> text/html :roll: instead of https://raw.github.com/gothfox/Tiny-Tiny-RSS/master/plugins/af_dilbert/init.php ==> text/plain :mrgreen:

@sleeper_service and "quit trying to use old versions with new plugins"
My problem existed also with version 1.80 by 3 clock in the morning. Therefore named i both versions and hoped somebody like "fox" finds my mistake. Thanks for nothing.

Been getting this again for a while now. I can see that a git commit on Jan 15th was a fix for this but I'm still getting that text shown so have they changed it again?

we discussed this on irc and it works for the dilbert.com feed but won't work for the feedburner/google-feed-whatever link some people have

I'm using this url: http://feed.dilbert.com/dilbert/daily_strip also there's I think http://dilbert.com/feed which should work too
