I've tried that too, unfortunately.

Oh, turns out the username, which you have to put in the email field, is case sensitive. Weird.

Hi there, great plugin. Just wondering if there is a bug in the SQL with the date field? Currently it's using "date_entered", which looks like it's the date entered into the tt-rss database as opposed to the date the article was published. Looking on Reeder it's different to the web view. Should "date_entered" be replaced with with "updated".

I'd appreciate any help.

Still use your username, not email.

You need to set a separate password using the Fever plugin. You don't use your e-mail, you use your username for TT-RSS.

Also, you cannot use the admin account for it. You have to create a separate account.

You can use your admin account. It makes no difference, as long as you simply enter your username as "admin" into Reeder.

I haven't got a PostgreSQL setup to test with. I'm mostly certain that at least one of the SQL queries aren't compatible with PostgreSQL.

Hi DigitalDJ,
I just tried out tt-rss today and am awfully grateful for your plugin.

Could you kindly edit your original post to include the info about requiring tt-rss API support? I spent about 2 hours looking. That makes me a fool (I know). But putting that info in the original how-to may save others the trouble...

Again, big thanks!

I've noticed that the dates displayed in Reeder (and therefore through the mock Fever API) are the date that the article was synced. Since my web host runs my cron script hourly, this means all articles have the time of 6:00 or 7:00 or 8:00/8:01 (for example). Is the script taking the wrong time from the database? Times appear fine in the web client.

I dug around in the source, and I think I found the problem. Script was referring to "date_entered" where I believe it should have been referring to "updated" in the DB table. I've attached a patch that should fix it. I'm not familiar with TT-RSS' code, however, so you should double check I'm not breaking something somewhere else.

Also, I had to make a patch on my Windows machine for the first time, so I hope the patch was done correctly.

Have to use date_entered here. It's used by Reeder to determine the latest synced feed. The updated field changes frequently if the article is updated.

This helps fix race conditions. For example, if sync Reeder THEN your cron runs to update your feeds....THEN you hit "Mark all Read" in Reeder, it will also mark the updated feeds (that you have not yet synced with Reeder) as read.

Is there no way around that?

Still, thanks for the plugin, it's been incredibly useful.
