Theme - Chalk - Improved

Postby showtime » 01 Jul 2013, 00:54

Hi there,

I just have switched from (the died) Google Reader to TTrss and I wonder why I have not done before ... :twisted:

I love web design, so I seek thee that suited me more, I found the theme 'Chalk' started by asyncopation and allowed myself to make some changes:

* Loading page modified
* Somes addes border and rounded
* Noisy background
* Added some green touch
* Some others details ...

I'm no expert in development, so it may exist some bugs or other bad syntax ...

This is my small contribution to the community :wink:

Yes nice work, but the stars are missing like in the first version of the original chalk theme.

Thanks

Rename image directory chalk_imporved_images to chalk_improved_images, then works fine

@showtime

The theme looks awesome!
But I get an error message unpacking the zip file. Anybody else with the same problem?

it'd be best not to post files with spaces in the names.

Even if I save the file a "1.zip" I still get an error (using archive mangager with 7zip plugin on Ubuntu)

$ file 'TTrss Chalk improved template.zip'
TTrss Chalk improved template.zip: RAR archive data, v1d, os: Win32

it's not a zip file, it's a mis-named rar.

Code: Select all

$ mv 'TTrss Chalk improved template.zip' x.rar
$ unrar t x.rar

Juste a suggestion : what do you think of adding that ?

Code: Select all

#feeds-holder .counterNode.aux {
  background: grey;
}

That allows to distinguish the unread count and the "how many articles are in this category" :
I starred some articles and published some others and your css (which I find very cool — my new preferred) doesn't do the distinction between unread and the amount of articles in starred and published categories.
