Hi, I really like this theme. Is there a way to collapse the articles so they are not showing any preview text? I just want the headline only in list view. Basically like it is in the default theme :)

Great theme! One issue - as compared to the default theme, you cannot scroll into whitespace below the article list to mark all feeds as read by using only the scroll wheel of your mouse. The scroll bar basically exists only to the bottom of the list of articles...compare this behavior to the default theme which lets you scroll through all articles in a feed. Fix this and it is 100% in my mind. :)

I see the article title twice in expanded mode. That and the scrolling into whitespace thing (mentioned above) are my two concerns.

The scrolling whitespace after the articles is now included in my Feedly theme (the base of the base of this theme).

The second article title is the floating title introduced in tt-rss 1.8. If you don't like it, you can disable it with:
#floatingTitle { display: none !important; }

Check the theme here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2065 (the screenshots are old)
... or on GitHub: https://github.com/levito/tt-rss-feedly-theme

@showtime: Nice to see my theme as a base for new variations. Feels good :)
Maybe you should use GitHub, fork my theme and develop from there on. Then you can easily get bug fixes and improvements.

Cheers!

I am looking to get the articles to collapse to use 1 line as in the right side of this picture. They seem to be using about 3 lines of text per article. I want to get the maximum articles on my screen and only need to see the title of each one :D

I like that this theme doesn't have any extraneous scrolling present.

Why not use the checkmark(s) or fq?

in my opinion, when reading a feed with hundreds of entries like, say, a slickdeals rss, it's annoying to scroll to the bottom and then have to click something to mark them all as read anyway...plus i tend to read in the middle of my screen and scroll down to read more entries, so at some point that just stops and i need to read down to the bottom of the screen to adjust to everything.

if the author is unwilling to fix, i'll take a look at the previous poster who said they fixed it in theirs and see if i can add it in to my own CSS, perhaps.

@bmckenna: a guide for this theme is quite hard to do. First: it was never meant as a reference or base theme, second: read on...

The HTML has grown and changed over the life time of tt-rss, it's not the most consistent thing. Fox can't refactor it too much as this would easily break existing themes.

Basically you just open up your web inspector or firebug and play around with it. Some changes will not be the way you would expect because the dojo/dijit framework does some recalculation magic. Sometimes resizing the browser window triggers these recalculations.

I tried to group similar selectors as much as possible, e.g. to make articles in collapsed grouped mode look the same as in classic/separate mode, to not have too many color/spacing/size definitions and so on. So that's good for fine-tuning and for doing the things you want to do.
