Save to Instapaper

Postby o_cee » 19 Jul 2013, 10:11

First version of my Instapaper plugin, using the free Instapaper API. Works asynchronously without opening up a new window. Needs to be configured with your Instapaper username and password, in the preferences.

https://github.com/oscarcarlsson/Tiny-T ... instapaper

Only tested with Tiny Tiny RSS from trunk. Requires PHP >= 5.2 and allow_url_fopen to be enabled.

Sorry, I only get a notify_error message "Unknown response from Instapaper". Pretty sure that I have configured my Instapaper username/password in the preferences.

Any hints?

Could you check the error console in your browser? There should be a response like this:

Object {id: "4288", response: "201", article_title: "Error'd: An Exact Measurement of Evil"}

Maybe a problem with your server configuration, such as PHP option allow_url_fopen.

Sorry, don't have any good suggestions, or the time to look at it at the moment. Port 443 is open for outgoing traffic?

Tried to quickly add some error catching, it should now output 'error' in the response which might be related.

Should have looked into tt-rss error log before:

[function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden

Works fine for me too. Thanks! I like how it uses the "standard notifications" of tt-rss.

Cool. I was pondering some other ideas, but I think this works quite well (and easiest to implement :) ).
