[github] feediron

Postby m42e » 07 Dec 2014, 11:37

Hi folks,

I used af_feedmod for a while, but missing some features. I improved it to "feediron".
You can get it here:

Hi,

thanks for this plugin, it seems to have some features which are great, like split or combining multiple pages for articles ;)

could you help me using FeedIron with the ZEIT Online RSS-Feed? I'd love to not see the comments within the feed, only the article. Ideal would it be to have the whole article if it is splitted. Unfortunately, my HTML isn't well enough (or I can not look well enough into the code), because I can not see a div-container with only the article within...

Thank you in advance,

Hanno

Hmm, this sounds good, but...

I just tried to update the config for Feediron - just to discover that none of my configs apparently was saved.
I use tt-rss version 1.13 with PHP 5.3.27; are there any problems known?

just a quick update: I have the same with tt-rss 1.15.3, so I guess it is not a tt-rss-problem...

Make sure that your config JSON is valid. There are JSON validators out there in the web. I also couldn't save first, but then I saw I had a trailing comma.

And @m42e: Thanks so much for this awesome plugin! This is really useful, I love it!

Hmm, I just validated my JSON with JSON Viewer - and yes, there was an error (missing comma). But now the JSON seems valid (see ) but still it doesn't get saved... any hints?

Hi,

thanks for the interest. I've already merged some improvements and added an automatic formater and some basic error checking/information.
I think it is quite usefull. Please also consider to open an issue on github.com if you have troubles. I'll may miss some posts in this forum.

Bye,
m42e

Thank you very much.

Just added the possibility to test a config directly in the test tab, without directly saving it in the main config.
And I added the ability to use readable (the php version) instead of self defined xpath/split.

I love the feature to test the ruleset first. Before feediron it was pain in the ass. :-)

Your Welcome. I hope the new possibility to test new configs makes it a painless process to test configurations.
