Tiny-Tiny-RSS successfully runs on IBM OS/2!

Postby dbanet » 28 Jan 2014, 01:57

Hi!

Thank you for your awesome work -- that's the best RSS reader I had ever seen! It runs very smooth, supports themes, plugins, it is opensource, and I can host it on my own server, also it integrates with Firefox, which is my favorite browser, as a feed reader. So, that's the best option for me.
Too good I've finally managed to run it on OS/2, which is now known as eComStation. Although it was not that trivial as with Debian 6 VPS, the problems were not in tt-rss at all, but I'd like to see it, maybe, just a little more smart in troubleshooting, maybe, more diagnostic messages, or debugging mode, or some heuristics, or more checks, whatever.
It works on Apache 2.2.24, PHP 5.5.4, and MySQL 5.1.68 like a charm!
Thank you, again, for such a nice work!

Regards.

I remember running OS/2 warp for a few years in the mid-nineties, it was a perfect system for my fidonet shit. Nice desktop too.
