Remember display config

Postby nerbrume » 23 Mar 2013, 14:12

Hi,
I pretty much only use the widescreen-UI, and being able to change to it quickly via "aW" is nice. But each time I reload tt-rss, or get disconnected, or restart my browser, I have to switch to widescreen, and then also re-set the column width, etc... (man, the default column width for feeds list is way too huge, at least on wide screens)
Would it be possible for tt-rss to remember theses displaying setting ?

PS: the new, faster loading time is fantastic !

It appears that in the latest version these settings are saved in the cookies. So as long as your cookie is active these settings will be maintained.

I am running the latest version and have cookies active, but the widescreen setting does not remain persistent for me after a refresh.

Scrap that, after reading issue 539, all now works.

Oh, just saw the discussion on issue 539. I can keep widescreen now.
Strange that the default behavior of COOKIE_LIFE_TIME=0 result in auto-destructing cookies.
However, what about column width ?

The default has been changed and I've added a blurb in config.php about it.

You can try user-CSSing column widths.

Thanks, that's more clear now.

I'm afraid that' above my skills, but I've just increased session lifetime, so my column width rarely get reset. That's enough for me.
