Make user data export include non-archived shared articles.

Postby Saliency » 24 Apr 2013, 18:25

Hi I did an export and noticed I was "missing data". (my published articles.)

After scratching my head a bit I realized that this is because published articles are not archived until the feed is unsubscribed.

The plugin does what it says; it exports stared and archived articles.

Thoughts:
Can export include published articles and have the import function add orphaned articles as archived
(so they are not purged on update.)
(BTW is ttrss_archived_feeds exported/imported as part of the process?)

Perhaps more elegant, why not have all articles archived by default when published?

For me and my 6k+ of published articles, besides raw SQL, do we have a good way of archiving all published articles.

Same case for Labels I suspect.

You are free to change the plugin to export whatever. As far as I'm concerned this is working as designed.

That's not how it works.

I suspect doing so would have allowed you to avoid adding ownership to ttrss_entries, but I don't know shit.
