I have tried to reproduce but I don't have any clue what is happening other than it keeps happing randomly.
Where exactly in the code is the marking as read done? I wanna study the source code.

I'm kinda frustrated I spend at least 8 hours digging through the sourcecode but wasn't able to locate the issue at all.
All I know for sure is that the issue is solely a mysql issue.
I deployed to ttrss instances for testing purposes one using postgres ond mysql other than that being identical. Both issues are mysql only.

Anyone have an idea what else I could look into?

Suggestion: look into not using mysql because it's terrible shit.

yeah, i just installed postgres on my server which I actually tried to avoid because I didn't want to maintain to database system - but oh boy i didn't expect the performance difference to be that significant. Ttrss literally flies now.

Fuck that. it keeps happenning.
Not randomly but always. I thought using postgres would get that fixed for me.
