mark search results read
mark search results read
I did a search for a phrase and got a list of results. I then did a "mark read" and instead of marking just the search results read (what I expected) it marked all the articles in the category read. Tried a few other ways but couldn't get just the search results marked read. Eventually figured out I could select all in search results and then using the select box mark read item do this. It would be nice if just the mark read button would mark the search results read in a single step for us lazy folks.

some edge cases might be broken, i would appreciate testing for this

thanks, fox. gave a quick test and seemed to work!! will test more over the weekend.
Re: mark search results read
It seems to be broken for me. I wanted to mark as read all articles from a label but I got error:
Code: Select all
TypeError: last_search_query is undefined

Re: mark search results read
it's a global variable so this looks like a caching issue
Re: mark search results read
Yeah, you're right - I forgot to restart php-fpm after update. So far no errors on my instance.
Re: mark search results read
Did more testing this weekend. used it on the Labels and individual labels and categories and My Feeds. Seemed to work fine. Didn't try on fresh or starred or published..
