themes not showing up

Postby lgwapnitsky » 12 Jan 2016, 19:45

Just reinstalled TTRSS and copied configs from my backup. Themes are not showing up, except for the defaults. This is my themes folder:

Code: Select all

./  ../  default.css  night.css  paper/  paper-previews/  paper.css  paper.less  reeder/  reeder.css  reeder_screenshot/

Please advise. I'm using the latest version from GIT

i've updated the base version, you'll need to change it in your third party theme

replace 15.x with 16.1

^ this number should correspond to the version you see at the bottom of prefs.php ^

e: will sticky this for the time being

I am having this issue as well. I just did a completely brand new install using git. In my preference settings, the dropdown for themes is sort of greyed out a little. I have 1 theme in there, reeder. The reeder.css does say 16.1
Am I missing something else?
Thanks

My money is on file and/or directory ownership and/or permissions.

this dropdown should at minimum have two default themes, you sure you didn't screw up the installation somehow?

Maybe a browser plugin (e.g. an ad blocker, etc.) is causing the issue.

Im not sure how I could have screwed up the install. I tried 4 times. I did the git clone, then even tried plain ftp.
I have tried edge and chrome incognito, same issue. Is there a way we should set permissions that might help me here?
thanks

the thing that populates this dropdown is done server-side so its unlikely your browser can affect this (even though anything is of course possible)

it's either a server-side misconfiguration of some kind (open_basedir?) or a permission issue

ahh open_basedir, I do not think the server has that set or configured.

nm, it is set to the \web folder. Should I also set it to tt-rss too?

thanks
