Label should not appear anymore

Once I had a filter that added the label "Steam" to some articles a few months ago. I must have deleted this filter at some point.
Lately I am seeing this label appearing again and I don't find the filter that would cause this to happen.
It might be a layer 8 problem but does someone have an idea how I could check the source of this?

there's a plugin which auto adds labels based on feed content, other than that labels shouldn't just appear

Deactivating the plugin "auto_assign_labels" seems to have fixed it for me.
Now I think I understand how this plugin works: it marks articles that have the text of the label in them.
I don't know what I expected when I turned it on (and forgot about it).
