YATTRSSC - Tiny Tiny RSS Client for iPhone and iPad

I just posted on the AppStore a simple client for Tiny Tiny RSS.

It looks more phone oriented, but I still wanted to give it a shot on my iPad. However, it tells me that

Host unreachable:[…] Please Check Network

This is clearly BS since Safari connects to it. Could be my home made SSL certificate?

Did that, with "s" and without, and without the whole thing. Didn't work in each case.

what is it using off the ttrss that I may have disabled? mobile or digest?

I get the following when connecting to my ttrss site:

EDIT: Nevermind. I didnt have the external API function enabled in the preferences. Nice looking so far. It works, it connects to the site and shows the feeds.

A few suggestions:
1. Move the large graphic on the top to the bottom and make it a bit smaller. Especially on the iPhone it takes up a lot of space.
2. Need a way to refresh the feeds.
3. It would be nice to be able to Hide read articles, or only show Unread articles.
4. Would be nice to have a way to show all unread feeds on one screen and be able to hit a next/prev button or swipe from one article to the next.

3 and 4 would have to be put in for it to be useful as a client for me. I put a lot of time in making my website tablet friendly, and it works like the old GR client Feeddly I used to use.

Remember to enable API access in your TTRSS account, from "Preferences" -> "Enable external API"

I haven't been able to really test it yet because I'm having connection issues from my work network (my problem, not the app). But, I do have 2 feedback items based on my interaction so far

1. There should be a wait indicator when you hit save and it tries to make the connection. Right now, the button doesn't look pushed in when it is touched, and nothing pops up to show that it is trying to do something, so it looks as if the program is not responding even though it's just busy trying to make the initial connection.

2. This is a common annoyance I have w/ IOS apps (though not all, so it seems there is a method to deal with this)...Can it PLEASE be set to not auto-capitalize the username field.

I know this is beta, so forgive me if those have already been reported/considered. I look forward to trying this at home when I can actually connect to my instance correctly

Yes, this would definitely replace Feeddly on my iOS devices if the following three items were completed.

1. Swipe to Refresh - any kind of refresh.
2. Swipe for next or previous article.
3. Hide read articles. Especially in the Special->All Articles section. My main reason for this is I spend a lot of my day reading my feeds for my job.

Another big thing is the ability to Share the articles. For me, I use Pocket to save them for future use. But I know there is a huge call for sharing to the many social networks.

Sweet. And I will keep hammering away at the app as it gets updated. Like I said, this is something I use every day for work, so I have been making my ver of tt-rss as easy and convenient to use from a PC or tablet as possible.

I am looking forward to see the next version.

I also like the possibility of having an App on my iPad.

Another suggestion from me is the support of https-connections. I dislike the idea of sending my username and password in clear through the air. Can you add SSL/TLS support to the app? When giving some https://... URL the app responds with the error

I'm having the same problem as @feader Unable to connect to my setup. If I copy/paste the URL into a web browser, it connects fine and I can authenticate. Tried both http and https.

I have a self signed cert with apache configured to redirect from http to https.
