gReader Android app now support tt-rss!

BTW, the official tt-rss Android client is very good. The fellow doing gReader only had to build a client. Fox has built the server side, web client and Android client. Essentially Fox has done pretty much all the Google did on Google Reader and built a pretty damn good Android app. AND, despite his sometimes being grumpy he actually supports tt-rss, something Google didn't do much of on Google Reader before they canned it.

Fox, sorry if it pisses you off but note the comment about the limit of 60 results being returned by the API slowing down things. This guys has spent a lot if time on making a great app and he knows the user expectations. If I remember correctly, Google had a 200 items per request limit. maybe you could optionally allow the limit to be bumped to see if it does indeed help speed things up.

As soon as this alleged slowing down is actually demonstrated and proven to be caused by tt-rss and not client application design, I will enlarge the limit. It's very easy to do.

Just wanted to say that I´m super happy that gReader added support for TT-RSS!
Not to insult anybody or to belittle the effort fox invested in his own mobile app, but gReader simply is the best mobile feed reader app I´ve ever seen.
Now TT-RSS + gReader = unbeatable!

@fox: Tagging currently isn´t supported by gReader with TT-RSS - presumably because the TT-RSS API provides no methods for it. Would you consider adding these features (or anything else that comes up) to the API if someone (me) opened a ticket for it? Maybe even accept patches for it?

I realize this is a 3 year old topic, but I am new to android and was looking for a reader ... but greader (currently) doesnt support tt-rss, or even fever (thinking to use the fever plugin?). Was there a version of greader that did support it? (anyone know the version number (maybe could hunt down an apk?)?

I also saw people mentioning PRESS working via the fever plugin, but I could not get it to work, it always said "invalid url" (although the url is right).

I'm also fairly new to TT-RSS and was a former gReader user, so I was in looking at this myself just recently.
I think at some point they removed support for TT-RSS and moved it to their new paid app, News+.

I wasn't interested in buying another app from them, so I downloaded official TT-RSS app and also have been playing with the unofficial TTRSS-Reader. Haven't decided which one I like best yet, but I went ahead and bought the official one anyway as a tiny gesture of support.

I went back to 3.6.2 of gReader and it didnt have tt-rss in it, so it must have been removed long ago. Too bad, using it on Feedly its a very good reader. I also am using the unofficial TT-RSS and although it works, its pretty barren. Did you ever try Press with the Fever plugin, (and maybe got it working?). Having come from iOS and Reeder, everything on Android seems a bit "subpar".
