log rotation

is possible to rotate log files?
some feed in my service is bad and update.php doesn't update more, but i can't understand where is the problem.

Yes. Use logrotate, that's why it has been written.

Maybe this could :
1. be in another thead (can't see why this problem is in a thread entitled "log rotation")
2. be written with some log, since we are not prescient, we can't find errors without some data.

I found the below article that shows how to do a backup and backup rotation with a very simple script. You can modify it for your directory structure and how many backups you want to keep. then run it with cron.
