Hi,
Today I have updated my server to Ubuntu 14.04.3 with upgrade to Postgres 9.3. Since Ubuntu now came with tt-rss which left my previous installation broken, I have tried to upgrade to the latest git version without success. After running update.php script successfully my schema_version in database is 129 as is the highest version in schema/versions/pgsql subdirectory.
Yet if I tried to log in as normal user I keep getting an error: "Your access level is insufficient to run this script." I assume that's because it tries to update db as I end up on /tt-rss/public.php?op=dbupdate.
If I login as admin user so that my access level is 10, then I am redirected to the same url only this time it tells me that "Tiny Tiny RSS database is up to date." Clicking on button just redirects me back to this screen after a short, failed attempt to open apps main screen (/tt-rss/index.php). Fails at about 30%.
I am sure I am missing something simple, but since I have spent hours on it already and am apparently unable to find solution online, I am hoping somebody had this problem already and can point me in right direction.
Thanks.

Re: Database schema update inifinite loop
you really should either
a) post this in the ubuntu forums, asking how to make their bastardized version work, or
b) install regular ttrss from git.

Re: Database schema update inifinite loop
dump the database, uninstall packaged tt-rss completely (purge the package), clone the git version, load the database dump back, setup git tt-rss to use it, that's it
never try to mix packaged software and stuff you yourself downloaded in the future
