Hello Fox,

first of all, congratulation for TTRss which I adopted few days ago to stop my google dependency, and I'm happy with it.

It seems that "matcauthron" is no more active and french translation need some updates.
If nobody is working on it, I'm ready to help and send you a fresh french translation before the end of the week.

That would be great! It would be even better if you worked on the latest .po file, not the 1.3.0 one.

E.g. http://madoka.spb.ru/~fox/testbox/tt-rs ... essages.po

Working on it (about 75% done). Still need some improvements and more accuracy.

And need modification in source code help/4.php:39 to be able to translate the note :)

That should be fixed in trunk. If you find anything else, don't forget to tell me about it. I sometimes forget about i18n in the heat of the moment, so to speak. :D

Didn't had the time I expected.
But I'm still alive and working on the file :)

Hi.

I'm using version 1.4.2 of tt-rss and found that some strings did not have a French translation. Specifically, the "New articles available in this feed (click to show)" string was in English, which is pretty confusing, as this string is often displayed in my instance of tt-rss  .
Here is an updated version, if you're willing to have it reviewed by some French speaking peers, or use it in a future release. I also included some translations for other additional missing strings, or fixed some that were looking weird (at least to me).

If you need additional help for English to French translation, just ask. As a long time and regular user, I'll be glad to help :)

Would anyone be opposed that I use the existing fr-FR .pot files and adjust them to French Canadian ? We are using some different terminlolgy for technical words, I am the translator for the fr_CA version of all Opera softwares. Since I use tt-rss on a daily basis for over 65 rss feeds and have several friends connecting on my server I feel that I could at least provide you with a fr_CA version of the files.

Are you able to actually amend the POT files and perhaps mark the strings as "fuxxy" for those that might have to be updated as well as those that are new and need to be updated ? With Opera, we were using that system for a while, then on an actual SVN, stillusing the PO files and now, everything is centralized on a web-based system.

Please let me know if you are interested.
