error in german translation?

Postby merderein » 29 Feb 2012, 01:27

hi,

i encountered a rather odd eroor in the german translation. i use the bookmarklet to subscribe to new feeds and am forwarded to this page. but the inscription on the second button in the first row "Ausgewählte Feeds abbestellen" is wrong, it should say "Ausgewählte Feed abonnieren" or "Ausgewählte Feeds bestellen" (in the moment, it says something like "Cancel subscriptions" - but clicking the button indeed subscribes to the selected feed - as it should). i've no idea if this is an error on my part (running version 1.5.10) or a general one.

Looks like a wrong translation, that's all.

Code: Select all

#: classes/pref_feeds.php:1050
msgid "Subscribe to selected feed"
msgstr "Ausgewählte Feeds abbestellen"

So I should replace that with "Ausgewählte Feed abonnieren"?

It depends. If it is a single feed in question: »Ausgewählten Feed abonnieren«

If it is more than one: »Ausgewählte Feeds abonnieren«

If it could be either: »Ausgewählte(n) Feed(s) abonnieren«

Well you select one, so I guess it's singular then.

I've merged the translated file from Transifex.
