Right now I scroll through all the articles and when I'm at the bottom I always mark them as read. But to be able to do that I have to scroll up a bit for the top bar to appear again, and I can then access the menu to mark them as read.

It would be nice to be able to always shot the top bar (action bar or whatever it's called?).
Right now I scroll through all the articles and when I'm at the bottom I always mark them as read. But to be able to do that I have to scroll up a bit for the top bar to appear again, and I can then access the menu to mark them as read.

i'm afraid you'll have to continue enduring the horrible inconvenience of having to scroll up a bit
alternatively you can enable auto marking as read instead of doing it manually for some reason
