Apparently reddit just changed how they do RSS. As a result, it seems like ALL the rss readers are now not really parsing the feeds correctly. This includes ttrss and the android ttrss app, but also all the other rss services like feedly, feedbunch, etc.
Here is some info on the change: https://www.reddit.com/r/changelog/comm ... rss_20_to/
What happens is that the apps articles synapses loads fine, but at the bottom of the snippet, it just has plain text like:
"submitted gameyalexplays [link][comment]"
Where "[link]" and "[comment]" used to be hyper links, but now are just plain text.
I am not sure if this is something that ttrss (and other rss readers) parse and make the hyper links live, or if reddit just messed something up. It is probably the latter, but if not, I thought I would just mention it here.
bug with reddit feeds (but not a ttrss specific problem)

cool, I'll update.
The feedly reference was just to point out that it was not ttrss specific, but seemed like it was an issue for everyone.
Thanks!

Re: bug with reddit feeds (but not a ttrss specific problem)
I've started getting the following error:
When trying to update the following feed:
https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/new/.rss
I've updated to latest Git trunk (commit 71b75bb7faabf9e662d76a292c8260634160afee, which is 3 commits past the af_redditimgur hack), but it didn't help.
I'm sure it's another Reddit issue, as the feed contents don't render in Firefox 44.0's feed viewer either.

He replied to your post saying that he's going to look into the nbsp stupidity. In the meantime I'm pretending it's a decade ago when I used to manually reload browser tabs to keep up with things

also, you can be "not strictly conformant" no more than you can be "a little bit pregnant".
Best line ever, fox.

Did you catch this one? https://www.reddit.com/r/changelog/comm ... to/cze69wd
They didn't even test it with thunderbird, the supposed reason they were switching to begin with.
